WOW! That was the one word to describe the event in Primm. I hope the coverage on NSDN kept those of you that couldn’t make it informed on the happenings of the race as it went on and gave those of you who were at the race a way to look back on what a the great event that it was. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention congratulations to Dennis Rieck on his Top Fuel World Record run at Primm of 2.327. Dennis’ ride was certainly hauling the mail, with 60’ times in the .950 range. Even as great as Primm was, it is time to move on to the next NSDA event.

The NSDA is hosting its point series finale at the Soboba Casino November 9-11. This race should see another huge turnout and some more exceptional racing. The point series battles should be thrilling to watch. Sand drag racing doesn’t need a contrived “Countdown” to have an exciting point series conclusion. NSDN will be on site for daily race coverage starting on Friday.

As it is now the off season for most racers east of Oklahoma, NSDN is looking for off season news. If you are building something new or upgrading your race car, let us know. Send in a photo or two and a brief description of your winter project to show the sand drag racing community what to look forward to in 2008. Until next month…
