Little Sandy Raceway in Grayson, KY played host to an excellent final day of racing for the Pro Truck Nationals series. The Pro Truck class saw another first time PTN winner as Jim Brantley took home the victory in an all-Michigan final round over Lee Reynders. Ben Dozeman came away the big winner in the Pro Outlaw FE class. Dozeman drove Rich Simon’s Funny Jeep a thrilling 3.31 to 3.31 final round victory over Kathy Ellington. Local racers swept the Quick 8 Pro ATV class as Melinda Smith defeated Nathan McMillion in the final round. Other big winners from this event include Lee Reynders (Pro 1 Cars), Buddy Hammett (Pro ATV), Matt Randolph (Sportsman Car), Nathan McMillion (ATV Bracket 1), Mark Kazee (ATV Bracket 2), Kristen Lewis (Juniors), & Sean Stapleton (Peewees). Pro Truck Nationals kicked off its Inaugural trip to Kentucky with some excellent racing action on Friday at Little Sandy Raceway in Grayson, KY. Indiana’s Brian Harrison in his Brave & Crazy Altered made his first trip to a PTN winners circle by taking the 3.5 Index title in an all Ellington Chassis Works final over Kathy Ellington. The Ironman came down to a great battle between Kyle Farwick & Neal Swain with Farwick turning on the win light in a close decision. The locals would sweep the Pro ATV class final as Keith Lycans defeated Tex Andy English in the final round. Saturday’s action features the Pro Truck, Pro Outlaw FE, and Quick 8 Pro ATV classes. NOTE: Limited cell service is making our live updates difficult. We will try our best to update throughout the day Saturday.
