Thunder Valley Sand Drags put on a great show Saturday night as the Show-Me Fall Nationals came to a conclusion. The hotly contested Top Eliminator class saw Texas racer Courtney Stidham walk away as the winner after he ran an impressive string of high 2.9 passes on race day. In the Pro 1 Cars class, John Acker continued towards a clean sweep of the Mid-America Sand Drag Series season as he took his third straight win. Mollie Eades did a great job in the Pro 1 ATV class as she defeated Darren Dockins in the final round to take the big win. Other winners on the day included Terry Hatfield (Pro 2 Cars), Josh Mansfield (Pro 2 ATV), Brad Buxton (Sport Comp), Joey Tate (Sport ATV), Mikel Eades (Juniors), and Luke Buxton (Peewees).

The first day of action is complete at Thunder Valley Sand Drags’ Show-Me Fall Nationals 2012. Marc Luce put Oklahoma at the top of the qualifying sheet in Top Eliminator with a solid 2.972. Jeff Sieg is right behind Marc with a 2.986 behind the wheel of his brother Stacey’s Dragster for this event. Russ Bailey emerged victorious in the Pro 1 Cars class as he drove his Chevy-powered Coupe to the win over the always tough Dennis Burrows. Darren Dockins did all the right things en route to a big Pro 1 ATV win over John Butler. Jamie Winsor doubled up with Pro 2 ATV & Sport ATV victories while Joe McNeill was the big winner in the Sport Comp category. Saturday action kicks off at Noon with Q3 for Top Eliminator.
