National Sand Drag News - National Sand Drag News | The #1 Source For Sand Drag Racing News | www.NationalSandDragNews.com National Sand Drag News (NSDN) is an online magazine covering the sport of sand drag racing. NSDN’s full array of up to the minute news and race coverage can be found online at www.NationalSandDragNews.com. Here is a brief explanation of what NSDN covers. The fast growing motor sport of sand drag racing consists of race cars that are very similar to their asphalt drag racing counterparts racing down 300 feet long (100 yard) tracks with a sand/dirt surface. The headliners of the show are the Nitro-burning Top Fuel dragsters that cross the finish line in under 2.5 seconds and reach speeds in excess of 160 MPH. Although the Top Fuel cars are the headliners of the show, multitudes of grass roots bracket racers compile the largest racer group in the sand. NSDN focuses on the hottest properties in sand drag racing, including coverage of the Pro Truck Nationals (PTN) series and other large independent events. Other large independent races across the country are also covered. NSDN covers these events with live race updates, race results, news, features, race videos, and photos. https://nsdn.us/index.php 2024-04-28T11:49:47+00:00 National Sand Drag News editor@nsdn.us Joomla! - Open Source Content Management Editor's Notes | Dec '14 2014-12-02T09:53:02+00:00 2014-12-02T09:53:02+00:00 https://nsdn.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=847&catid=123&Itemid=61 Administrator editor@nsdn.us BY: TOM BRAY

Thanksgiving has just come and gone, which means it’s that time of the year for “The Editor” to throw some end of the year thoughts out there. Going through my notes here, I just realized this wraps up the Eighth season of NSDN sand drag racing coverage. That to me is absolutely mind boggling. It brings me to think about all of the miles traveled, flight delays, long days at the track, and insane weather endured. The stories I could write about would fill a novel, but we’ll leave some of those for another day. But in the end, it is the great folks in the sport that keep me going. I’m honored to bring the service NSDN does to the good folks of the sport for the past eight years and into the future.

BY: TOM BRAY

Thanksgiving has just come and gone, which means it’s that time of the year for “The Editor” to throw some end of the year thoughts out there. At this point, there haven’t been many schedules released.
