The 19th Annual 2017 Heartland Nationals at Atoka Motorsports Park in Atoka, Oklahoma once again was a huge success with racers from as far away as California and Tennessee competing on the 300’ in Southeast Oklahoma. The Southern California Sand Drag Association is proud to bring you the 2nd Annual Hammer Down Nationals Presented By Maximum Diesels & Greg Tounget Motorsports. This year's event will take place September 29-October 1 and once again be held at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA. Last year's event was a huge success with an incredible show from start to finish highlighted by Saturday Night Thunder under the lights in front of a standing room only crowd. SCSDA is looking to make this year's event even bigger and better. Offering strong payouts for the racers at this event is once again a top priority and SCSDA is actively seeking sponsorship help on that front. Avenal Sand Drags in Avenal, CA has announced the addition of Friday racing to their upcoming October event. The 2017 Avenal Sand Drags Fall Nationals will now take place on October 20-22.
